A man is said to have driven through Dresden as a passenger in a vintage military car, wearing a steel helmet and giving the Hitler salute. The public prosecutor's office is investigating the man on suspicion of using signs of unconstitutional and terrorist organizations, according to a statement. The 37-year-old has no criminal record and has not yet commented on the allegations.
According to the public prosecutor's office, the man and the other occupants of the open-top car were on their way to a classic car meeting last Friday. All of the occupants were investigated, but a warrant has now been requested against the 37-year-old defendant. The public prosecutor's office is demanding a fine of 2,500 euros, according to reports.
