Law enforcement authorities have taken concerted action against hate postings on the internet on a day of action. There are also suspects in Saxony.

Police in Saxony are targeting seven suspects for anti-Semitic hate postings. They are six men aged between 23 and 67 and a 42-year-old woman, according to the State Criminal Police Office. They are said to have published posts with anti-Semitic content that denied or mocked the Holocaust. All of them are being investigated for incitement to hatred.

There were 127 police actions, more than 50 homes were searched in over 90 investigations and numerous suspects were questioned.

The actions took place in Baden-Württemberg, Bavaria, Berlin, Brandenburg, Bremen, Hamburg, Hesse, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Lower Saxony, North Rhine-Westphalia, Rhineland-Palatinate, Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt, Schleswig-Holstein and Thuringia.
