If you would like to take part in the 7 Lakes Hike in the Leipzig region next May, you can already register for some routes. For the first time, registration for all unguided tours will begin on 28 November, the organizers announced. For the guided tours, the deadline begins as usual on January 1, 2026.
From May 8 to 10, 2026, more than 70 guided and unguided tours are available for hiking fans. The routes are between one and 105 kilometers long. Night hikes and combined routes with paddleboards or canoes on the lakes in the former mining region near Leipzig are also part of the program.
The 7 Lakes Hike was launched in 2004. Since then, the event has grown steadily and now attracts around 6,000 participants every year.
