Unusual discovery in Saxon Switzerland: the police are on the lookout for a kangaroo spotted in the Schönbach district of Sebnitz. According to the police, a driver called the station on Monday evening and reported that he had spotted a kangaroo on the road. He sent the officers a cell phone photo as proof.
In order to avoid possible accidents, the police made their way to the spot where the animal had been spotted. However, the marsupial had already hopped away. The following day, a woman reported a missing kangaroo at the station, a police spokesman said. The officers assume that the two cases are connected. They are continuing to keep an eye out for the animal while on patrol.
