"Especially in times of climate change, it is important to find a way to deal with the increasing number of hot days. But so far, the state has no clear strategy for better heat protection measures in schools and daycare centers."

The Greens are calling for a state-wide monitoring of heat and health consequences in daycare centers and schools, binding guidelines on the cancellation or reduction of lessons due to heat and a clear strategy for heat protection measures, including secure funding. "We finally need reliable data on the topic of heat and a nationwide strategy. Because without figures, we remain blind to the dangers."
