The Leipzig public prosecutor's office is investigating those responsible for a construction company on suspicion of delaying insolvency. To this end, the public prosecutor's office is conducting searches with the police, including in the Leipzig city area, the investigating authority announced. Business premises of the companies and residential addresses of those responsible will be searched.
The aim is to find business and accounting documents, also to determine the time of a possible insolvency. There is also a suspicion that employees' social security contributions were not paid to the respective health insurance funds, at least not on time. Some investigations into this had already been initiated in August 2024.
The evaluation of the secured documents will take some time.
