A 54-year-old man has died in a road accident on the border between Saxony and Saxony-Anhalt. According to the Leipzig police department, he died at the scene of the accident. The wreckage of the vehicle showed massive damage.
The car was traveling on federal road 183a from Brehna to Storkwitz. It veered off the road to the left and crashed into a tree. The driver was from Saxony-Anhalt. The police initially did not provide any further details.
