A new investor is being sought for the insolvent glassworks in Freital near Dresden. The first interested parties from various countries have already come forward, according to the law firm in charge of the restructuring. The prospects for a successful reorganization are good, emphasized lawyer Matthias Rönsch. Business operations have remained stable since filing for insolvency and the company has a healthy core. According to the information provided, around 120 people are employed at the glassworks. They produce bottles and jars in various shapes and sizes.

The company had reportedly run into difficulties due to a sharp rise in energy and raw material costs. Dresden Local Court has ordered insolvency proceedings under self-administration.
