An 87-year-old woman has crashed her car into a flower store in Hoyerswerda. According to the Görlitz police department, she apparently slipped off the clutch, whereupon her car shot backwards up several steps and crashed into the door of the store. "Fortunately, there was nobody behind the vehicle or in the entrance area of the store," it said. However, the driver suffered minor injuries. She was taken to hospital for further examination. The property damage is said to be around 10,000 euros.
