Two unknown drivers raced each other on the A72 in the Vogtland district of Saxony, causing two accidents. According to the police, the two cars were traveling far too fast between the state border with Bavaria and the Pirk junction and were also overtaking other cars on the right.
As a result, a 41-year-old man had to brake, left the road, his car overturned and only came to a halt after around 100 meters. The man was slightly injured. A truck swerved and pushed another car into the central crash barrier. The truck driver drove off.
