The victims are also remembered at Leipzig University: shortly after the crime, the Paulinum invites people to an open prayer.

A memorial service is planned at the University Church of St. Pauli (Paulinum) following the shooting rampage in Leipzig city center. According to a notice, an open service will take place on Tuesday at 12.30 pm in the auditorium and university church.

The service is aimed at the university community and the general public. Among other things, a speech by the university preacher Andreas Schüle is planned. The Rector of the University is also reportedly planning to take part in the service. A minute's silence is also planned. The event is expected to last around 30 minutes.
