Alida-Nadine Kühne is the new Saxon Blossom Queen. The 22-year-old pharmacy student from Döbeln was crowned on Saturday at the Borthen Blossom Festival in Dohna, as announced by the renamed Saxony & Saxony-Anhalt Fruit Growers' Association (previously: Saxon Fruit Association). Alida Nadine I will now represent the association for one year. She will be supported by her predecessor Antonia Kirschner.
The Blossom Queen will appear at various festivals and harvest events. The Green Week 2020 in Berlin is also on the agenda. According to the announcement, the first major appearance will be the opening of the strawberry harvest on May 24 for the 1st German Strawberry Day in Leipzig.
