A13 Closed Toward Berlin Following an Accident

Following an accident, one lane of Highway 13 near Ortrand (Oberspreewald-Lausitz district) is closed. According to a spokesperson for the highway police, a truck has been blocking the lane heading toward Berlin since around 5 a.m. The accident occurred near the state border between Saxony and Brandenburg. According to the spokesperson, the closure is expected to last several more hours. The police did not initially provide any further details about the accident.
