An 83-year-old woman was slightly injured on Friday in Weißwasser (Görlitz district) when a bus braked hard. According to the Görlitz police department on Saturday, the bus driver (48) had failed to observe the right of way of a car in a 30 km/h zone and therefore had to brake hard. The pensioner slipped from her seat. She was treated as an outpatient by the ambulance service. The bus driver is being investigated on suspicion of negligent bodily injury.
