From April, Schauspiel Leipzig is moving to the agra site in the south of the city due to renovations to its main stage. As the theater announced, the old trade fair park from GDR times will serve as an alternative venue for a total of six months. Meanwhile, the theater's other venues will continue to operate without any problems.
Three stages will be set up in the former cultural hall of the GDR agricultural exhibition agra. A special program has been designed for this, which will be shown from 24 April. Open-air performances will also take place on the outdoor areas of the site from June.
Early tours of the stages will be possible on March 9 at the open day. On April 12, the actors and actresses will give a foretaste in public rehearsals. All dates are now on sale under the program title "ag(o)ra".
