Artists Jonathan Meese and Neo Rauch are showing some of their works in a joint exhibition in Aschersleben. "Feine Herrschaft" comprises over 60 works, including lithographs, drawings and works in oil on paper, announced the Neo Rauch Graphic Arts Foundation. Among them are also joint works by the two artists. The exhibition will be on display from May 30 for almost a year.
The exhibited works deal with rule, ideology and the role of art, it said. The Neo Rauch Graphic Foundation is responsible for the museum of the same name in Aschersleben, where Leipzig-born Rauch has been holding exhibitions for several years. The new exhibition is the museum's 14th annual exhibition.
