Ahead of a panel discussion at the Leipzig Book Fair, the venue has been smeared with political graffiti. Two perpetrators sprayed large-scale lettering relating to the Middle East conflict on the façade of the Felsenkeller in Leipzig, according to the police. A round table discussion with Israeli government employee and ex-military spokesperson Arye Sharuz Shalicar and FDP politician Linda Teuteberg is planned for Wednesday evening.
According to the police, a demonstration has been announced in parallel to the event. An investigation has been launched into the graffiti for the use of symbols of unconstitutional and terrorist organizations and for damage to property.
