Dynamo welcomes Schalke - rumors about Sylla cause unrest
Dynamo Dresden will face FC Schalke 04 at the Rudolf Harbig Stadium on Sunday, with kick-off at 1:30 p.m.
The focus is on Schalke attacker Moussa Sylla. The 25-year-old is currently regarded as one of the "Royal Blues'" outstanding players. However, there have been persistent rumors about a possible transfer of the striker for weeks. As the African sports magazine Africafoot reports, Leicester City from the Premier League and Stade Rennes from France, among others, are said to be interested in Sylla.
In sporting terms, the attacker has had a mixed start to the season: he has scored one goal in four appearances so far. Last season, Sylla made a decisive contribution to Schalke's attacking play with 16 goals and one assist in 29 games.
It remains to be seen whether the Knappen will actually have to do without their top striker on Sunday in Dresden.
