The Länderbahn announces restrictions on Trilex services in eastern Saxony due to vegetation work.

The Länderbahn has announced restrictions in eastern Saxony. This is due to work on the vegetation on the track bed, the company announced on Thursday. As a result, there will be restrictions on all Trilex lines from Monday to Saturday. The line between Bischofswerda and Neukirch (East) will remain closed to rail traffic between 10:00 and 16:00. During this period, rail replacement bus services will be running.

According to the Länderbahn, fallen trees in the track bed have repeatedly caused obstructions and delays in the East Saxony network in recent weeks.

On February 24, a full closure of Dresden Central Station from 4.00 am will lead to further obstructions in rail traffic, it said. Trilex trains will then begin and end in Dresden-Neustadt.
