A driver has crashed his car into a tree in the Vogtland district and died. According to the police, the vehicle veered off the road to the right on the B283 in Markneukirchen on Thursday for unknown reasons. The 71-year-old reportedly drove his car into a delineator and a wire mesh fence - the car finally crashed into the tree. The man died at the scene of the accident.
