Sonnenlandpark has invested in new attractions for its 20th anniversary. Minister President Kretschmer ventures up into the air for the opening.

Saxony's head of government Michael Kretschmer has ventured up high. The CDU politician came to the opening of a so-called Skywalk in the Sonnenlandpark Lichtenau in Central Saxony - and tried out the new attraction for himself. At a height of 35 meters, the 51-year-old walked across the 72-meter-long walkway between a pyramid with a viewing platform and a giant slide tower. The Prime Minister then slid down a tube slide.

The Sonnenlandpark is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year - and has invested. The giant slide and the pyramid were built last fall, and now the Skywalk has been added. According to the theme park, the new attractions cost a total of around three million euros.
