A derailed streetcar has caused cancellations and disruptions to local public transport in Leipzig. According to the Leipzig transport company's timetable information, the streetcar derailed in the area of the stop directly in front of the main station. According to the police, there are no injuries. It was a technical problem, they added. It is currently unclear how long the effects will last. Traffic had only restarted in the morning after the warning strike the day before.
