The major shakeup at Dynamo Dresden continues. The second-division soccer club has now announced the signing of Till Neininger. The 19-year-old center back is joining the club on loan from VfL Wolfsburg, which was relegated from the top division.
“With Till, we’re adding a young, very well-trained center back whom we believe is ready to take the next steps with us. He brings a strong physical presence and tackling ability, as well as a very well-developed sense of the game in build-up play for his age,” said Dynamo’s sporting director, Sören Gonther.
Neininger joined Wolfsburg at the age of eleven and progressed through all of their youth teams. Most recently, he captained the U19 team to the DFB Junior Cup final. In addition, the 1.88-meter-tall defender was named to the VfL Wolfsburg first-team Bundesliga roster five times.
