RB Leipzig will have to make do without a quartet in team training in the Algarve. Knee problems and ankle complaints prevented them from playing.

Bundesliga club RB Leipzig are temporarily without four players at their training camp in Portugal as they prepare for the second half of the season. In addition to goalkeeper Peter Gulacsi, attacking players Romulo, Antonio Nusa and Johan Bakayoko were also missing from team training on Sunday. The quartet trained individually, as the club announced. RB coach Ole Werner's team will remain in Almancil until January 7, with the away game at FC St. Pauli coming up three days later.

Striker Romulo and goalkeeper Gulacsi cut the morning session short early on Saturday. The Brazilian is suffering from ankle pain after a tackle, while Gulacsi is complaining of knee problems. Convalescents Nusa and Bakayoko are also sitting out team training for the time being.
