Jürgen Fox resigns as president of Hallescher FC

Jürgen Fox is no longer president of the regional soccer league club Hallescher FC. The 58-year-old resigned from office with immediate effect. The step was taken after discussions with his fellow board members and a personal assessment. The decision was made in the interests of the club and all those involved, according to a statement from the club.

Recently, there had been more discussions at HFC about offices than about sport. Among other things, the contract with commercial director Robert Marien was terminated prematurely at the end of the season. Marien managed the office and was responsible for finance, sales, marketing, administration and ticketing.

Fox held various positions

Fox worked for Hallescher FC for several years in various roles. He was initially involved in the board of directors and later took on responsibility on the executive board. During his time in office, he oversaw numerous sporting and structural challenges together with other managers at the club.

The remaining board members Andreas Muth, Oliver Kühr and
Christian Brauer will continue in their roles until a new election
is held. "We respect this decision and are grateful for the work they have done over the past few years. Our common goal now is to ensure stability in the club's management," they said in a joint statement.
