Jürgen Fox is no longer president of the regional soccer league club Hallescher FC. The 58-year-old resigned from office with immediate effect. The step was taken after discussions with his fellow board members and a personal assessment. The decision was made in the interests of the club and all those involved, according to a statement from the club.
Recently, there had been more discussions at HFC about offices than about sport. Among other things, the contract with commercial director Robert Marien was terminated prematurely at the end of the season. Marien managed the office and was responsible for finance, sales, marketing, administration and ticketing.
