Dresden volleyball players surprise in Stuttgart

The Dresden volleyball team lost twice to Stuttgart in the main round. Things are different at the start of the play-off semi-final.

Dresdner SC's women's volleyball team have made progress in the play-off semi-finals. Alexander Waibl's team surprisingly prevailed 3:2 (20:25, 25:18, 15:25, 25:22, 16:14) in a hard-fought match at favorites and preliminary round winners Allianz MTV Stuttgart.

As a result, Alexander Waibl's charges can already secure a place in the final with a win in their home arena on Wednesday. Should they fail to do so, a third game next Saturday would decide the outcome again in Stuttgart. Dresden had lost twice in the Bundesliga main round. Suhl and Schwerin will contest the other play-off semi-final.
