The Dresden SC women's volleyball team is pressing ahead with its squad planning for the new season and has signed outside attacker Morgan Geddes. The 24-year-old US-American moves from Swiss first division club VBC Cheseaux to the Elbe and has signed a one-year contract.
The Grove City, Ohio native received her education at Indiana University, gained her first experience in Europe with Swedish first division club Örebro VBS and last season in Switzerland.
What the coach says
DSC coach Alexander Waibl said of the new signing: "Morgan is a very physical player who has a lot of attacking power and should give us more penetration. I see great development potential in her, which we want to work on together this season."
Morgan Geddes is the fourth new signing for the new season after returnee Sarah Straube, international Lena Kindermann and Mackenzie Foley (USA), who is moving to Dresden from double winners VfB Suhl.
