After parting ways with veteran John Bryant only on Sunday due to irreconcilable differences, the club from Weißenfels has now responded to Khyri Thomas' prolonged absence due to injury. In Andrew Harrison, another former NBA pro will now wear the MBC uniform until the end of the season. The new signing last played for Pioneros de Los Mochis in Mexico.
At the same time, the cup winners announced the departure of Stephon Jelks. He has accepted an offer from BC Kalev/Cramo Tallinn until the end of the season, the Saxony-Anhalt club announced. The US wing player has already traveled to his new home in Estonia. Jelks had returned to Weißenfels a few days before the start of the season, where he had already played from 2022 to 2024.
