Julian Nagelsmann has described his premature departure from RB Leipzig to FC Bayern as a "tad too early" in hindsight. "I think I could have achieved a lot more with the club," said the 38-year-old national coach during an appearance at the International Coaches' Congress in Leipzig.
Nagelsmann left RB in the summer of 2021 after two years. According to reports, Bayern had paid a transfer fee of around 20 million euros at the time. The record soccer champions from Munich parted ways with Nagelsmann prematurely in March 2023, and he became coach of the German national team in September 2023.
