FC Erzgebirge Aue have suffered their fourth consecutive defeat in the 3rd Football League. The situation is now likely to get worse for coach Jens Härtel. The FCE lost 3:1 (0:0) at VfL Osnabrück.
Bjarke Jacobsen gave the hosts the lead in the 49th minute. Lars Kehl made it 2-0 less than a quarter of an hour later, converting a penalty in the 63rd minute.
The visitors then gained some hope when Mika Clausen scored the equalizer in the 71st minute. But it was no longer a draw. Instead, Ryan Malone was shown the red card in stoppage time for an emergency stop and Isamail Badjie (90.+5) scored to make it 3-1. It was Aue's fifth defeat of the season in seven games with one draw and one win.
