Wiegert is all the more focused for the next Bundesliga encounter in the Bergisches Land against the relegation-threatened BHC. "The game before the upcoming international break is very important for us to strengthen our starting position," said Wiegert, who is expecting a possible performance gap within his team in the coming weeks.

In addition to the 45 club games played so far, most of the professionals will also have to play in the respective selection teams. "That could lead to something in March and April that we can't yet see," says Wiegert, who would therefore like to control the workload in training, but is faced with a dilemma: "Because we don't have that many training sessions."
