The attack was FC Erzgebirge's weak point last season. Another striker should provide more goal threat.

Third division soccer club FC Erzgebirge Aue have made another transfer and signed Julian Guttau. The 25-year-old striker comes to the Erzgebirge from TSV 1860 Munich and is expected to add more power to the Violets' attack. The club is convinced "that he will be an important piece of the puzzle for our offense with his quality," said sporting director Matthias Heidrich in a press release.

Guttau comes from Halle/Saale and played in all of HFC's youth academies. He played more than 100 third division games for the professionals. In 2022, he moved to SC Freiburg and one year later to Munich. In a total of 212 third division games, the left-footer scored 22 goals and made 28 assists.
