2:4 defeat for Dynamo Dresden in test at Slavia Prague

Dynamo Dresden, promoted to the second division, only escaped a heavy defeat in a test match at Czech soccer champions Slavia Prague thanks to late goals. In front of around 20,000 spectators, the Saxons lost 2:4 (0:0). Vasil Kusej had put the hosts ahead in the 47th minute. David Doudera (58'), Divine Teah (63') and Daiki Hashioka (65') increased the lead. Nils Fröling (80) and Friedrich Müller (84), who had joined from FC Hansa Rostock, scored in the closing stages to improve the result.

Coach Thomas Stamm gave all healthy professionals and several youngsters a chance to play. Of the regular players, the convalescing Niklas Hauptmann and goalkeeper Tim Schreiber were absent due to an injury sustained in training.

Evenly matched first half

Prague, who start the season next week, had the better chances in the first half, although the match was very even and exciting.
