Dynamo Dresden gave away a potential victory at SV 07 Elversberg in a real defensive battle and had to travel home from the Saarland with a 2:2 (2:1) draw. Younes Ebnoutalib scored the not undeserved equalizer in the second minute of stoppage time. Christoph Daferner (3rd) and Jakob Lemmer (39th) scored for Dynamo before the break after defensive errors by the hosts, Ebnoutalib (10th) had scored the interim 1:1 with his head.
Stamm with maneuver criticism
"Winning a point in Elversberg is never wrong," said Dynamo coach Thomas Stamm on the Sky microphone, before expressing an unusually harsh criticism for him: "I'm very disappointed with the second half. It was about the worst since I've been in Dresden. The question is: Did we in the coaching team, did I put the right things in when you get pushed in like that? The second half didn't meet the standards we set ourselves," the coach grumbled.
Stamm had made some personnel changes. New signing Julian Pauli moved into central defense for Lars Bünning, while Luca Herrmann replaced Jonas Oehmichen in the starting eleven. However, both new signings had to be substituted in the course of the match due to injury.
