Relegation-threatened SSV Ulm bring Abu-Bekir Ömer El-Zein back to the 3rd division. He will soon be meeting his former colleagues at a training camp with his new club.

Abu-Bekir Ömer El-Zein is leaving second-division soccer club 1. FC Magdeburg to join SSV Ulm one division below. The midfielder has signed a contract there until June 30, 2027, as announced by SSV. El-Zein traveled with his new teammates to the training camp in Turkey today and will face his former club Magdeburg in a test match on 9 January.

"Abu is another building block for our selective reinforcement. He has the offensive qualities we need and we are convinced that he will help us," said Ulm's managing director Stephan Schwarz.
