The power forward is moving up from Pro A to the top division. The team has extended the contract of one of its key players ahead of schedule.

The roster of Basketball-Bundesliga team Syntainics MBC is taking shape. The Saxony-Anhalt-based team has announced the signing of power forward Gabriel de Oliveira. The 28-year-old is returning to the Bundesliga from Harko Merlins Crailsheim in Pro A and has signed a one-year contract.

De Oliveira is no stranger to the Bundesliga. Between November 2020 and December 2022, he played for the Telekom Baskets Bonn and the Rostock Seawolves, averaging 2.5 points and 1.4 rebounds in 33 games.
