After their second victory over cup winners Dresdner SC, Schwerin are now just one win away from winning their 13th title in the club's history. Once again, the duel is a clear-cut affair.

The volleyball players from SSC Palmberg Schwerin have won their first championship match point in the play-off final against Dresdner SC. After the 3-0 opening win, the players of coach Felix Koslowski also won the second game in the Saxon state capital 3-0 (25-21, 25-20, 25-15) and thus lead the "best-of-five" series 2-0. Dresden would now have to win three games in a row to be able to celebrate the title after all.

The next clash between the two top German teams will take place on Saturday (17:15/Sport1) in Schwerin's Palmberg Arena. With a third win, the SSC volleyball players could lift the championship trophy for the first time since 2018.
