SC Magdeburg still has the chance to win three titles this season. An unchallenged start-to-finish victory against SG Flensburg-Handewitt in the cup quarter-finals.

Bundesliga leaders SC Magdeburg have made it to the Final Four of the DHB Cup. The team from the city on the Elbe won 35:29 (18:14) against SG Flensburg-Handewitt - their closest rivals in the league. Magdeburg's top scorer in front of 6,600 spectators was Omar Ingi Magnusson with eleven goals.
