RB Leipzig is going on a promotional tour in South Africa at the end of the season. The Bundesliga club will be in Johannesburg from May 26 to 30. On May 29, the Saxons will play a test match against South African champions Mamelodi Sundowns in Pretoria. The match will kick off at 20:00 local time at the Lucas Moripe Stadium. It will be Leipzig's third tour abroad after the USA 2024 and Brazil 2025.
"For us, this trip is a valuable opportunity to get in touch with South African fans, gain insights into the local soccer culture and further develop our international identity," said managing director Johann Plenge.
