Fans get into fights, a fence is damaged, glass panes shatter - the police investigate after two Oberliga matches in Saxony.

According to the police, there were clashes between the fan camps at two matches in the top soccer league in Saxony. Several people were injured.

The Vogtland derby between VfB Auerbach and VFC Plauen (2:2) saw several clashes between supporters of both teams, according to the police. At least four fans were injured on Friday evening.

In addition, pyrotechnics were set off, a fence at the train station in Auerbach was damaged and two panes of glass at the Auerbach clubhouse were broken. Ten suspects, aged between 16 and 49, were arrested. The police are investigating serious breach of the peace.

During the match between Bischofswerdaer FV and FC Einheit Wernigerode (1:2) on Saturday, several visiting fans attacked home fans at a snack bar, according to the police. Shortly afterwards, there was a second altercation just a few meters away. Three people suffered minor injuries. Two suspects, aged 27 and 39, are being investigated for assault.
