The Preußenstadion will host two DFB Cup matches in August. Westfalia Rhynern will make its Cup debut in Münster, while Preußen Münster will face Karlsruher SC.

The stadium of second-division relegation side Preußen Münster will host two DFB Cup matches in the first round this August. In addition to the match between Münster and Karlsruher SC, the Preußenstadion will also host the very first DFB Cup match for Regionalliga newcomer Westfalia Rhynern against second-division side Dynamo Dresden, as announced by the future third-division soccer club.

Following a basic agreement with the club from the Hamm district of the same name in Westphalia, numerous details still need to be worked out, it was reported. However, it has been confirmed that Dynamo Dresden fans will be able to use the visitors’ section as usual. Preußen Münster expects that, due to the double-header, one match could take place on Friday evening and the second match, for example, on Sunday.
