RB Leipzig can keep one of their rivals at bay in the battle for a Champions League place in the Bundesliga by achieving several anniversaries. In Leipzig's 150th away game in the Bundesliga at Borussia Mönchengladbach on Saturday (3.30pm/Sky), RB coach Marco Rose could celebrate his 50th Bundesliga win in his 90th game on the Rasenballsport side's touchline if he is successful.
Lois Openda would certainly be delighted with a goal as an anniversary present in his 60th Bundesliga appearance, while fellow striker Benjamin Sesko would give himself a present with a goal - his 25th in the league. The statistics also speak in favor of the Saxons, who have won ten of their 17 matches to date and only lost three. There have been four draws, most recently a goalless draw in Leipzig in the first half of the season.
Leipzig have also not conceded a Gladbach goal in four games. Gladbach have become a favorite opponent in recent years. With an average of 0.76 points, Gladbach have collected more points against Leipzig than almost any other Bundesliga team.
