Handball Bundesliga club ThSV Eisenach secures the next talent from Switzerland: right winger Gian Attenhofer moves from HSC Suhr Aarau to Wartburg.

Handball Bundesliga club ThSV Eisenach secures the next talent from Switzerland. The 21-year-old right winger Gian Attenhofer will move from HSC Suhr Aarau to Wartburg in the summer. This was announced by Eisenach late on Thursday evening after the Swiss club had already announced the move on Tuesday. "There is huge potential in this club and in this city. That's what finally convinced me to make this move," Attendorfer is quoted as saying in the HSC's statement.

After coach Misha Kaufmann, left wing Timothy Reichmuth and playmaker Manuel Zehnder, who is on loan from HC Erlangen for this season, Attenhofer is the next Swiss player to join the ranks of Eisenach. All four also share a past at HSC Suhr Aarau.

After Willy Weyhrauch retires, Attenhofer is set to join Moritz Ende at the right wing position. The Swiss signed a two-year contract.
