Leipzig's Gruda was called up by national team coach Klopp to the squad for the Nations League matches against Serbia and Greece. In Leverkusen, the 22-year-old had to be substituted due to injury.

National soccer team player Brajan Gruda had to be substituted due to injury in the first half of RB Leipzig’s away game against Bayer Leverkusen. Gruda, who was recently named to the national team by head coach Jürgen Klopp for the upcoming Nations League matches, left the field in the 26th minute. The 22-year-old attacking midfielder appeared to be experiencing issues with his abdominal muscles on the right side, just above the hip.

Gruda was called up to the DFB squad by new national team coach Klopp for the match against Serbia on October 1 and the second match against Greece on October 4.
