Second-division soccer club Dynamo Dresden has signed midfielder Tobias Raschl. The 26-year-old played for Preußen Münster in the second half of last season, but the team was unable to avoid relegation. He started the season with 1. FC Kaiserslautern.
“With Tobi’s experience and quality, we’ve secured another key piece for our midfield,” said Dresden managing director Sören Gonther in a statement. Raschl came up through the youth systems of Borussia Mönchengladbach, Fortuna Düsseldorf, and Borussia Dortmund. He made 11 Bundesliga appearances with BVB and SpVgg Greuther Fürth; he also has 83 second-division appearances for Fürth, Kaiserslautern, and Münster.
