The team at the bottom of the table must first and foremost strengthen its defense. An old acquaintance should help with the mission to stay in the league.

Dynamo Dresden have brought back their promotion hero Jonas Sterner. The second division bottom club is loaning the 23-year-old from Hannover 96 until the end of the season. Sterner had already played on loan at Dresden last season and played a major part in their promotion to the second division with 32 third division games and ten scoring points.

"Jonas can be deployed flexibly on the right flank and can contribute his strengths both offensively and defensively. He can therefore provide further important impetus for our game. It can be a great advantage that he already knows the coach and the team well," said Dynamo's new sporting director Sören Gonther.
