Dynamo Dresden celebrate Bochum victory peacefully

First details of the new security concept

After the riots against Hertha BSC, all eyes were on the Dynamo ultras. They presented a huge choreography on the theme of Dresden art, culture and baroque with a banner: "Only with Dynamo does Dresden shine in all its glory". The Ultras refrained from a nasty banner directed at the soccer associations or politicians.

Possibly because the second division club had threatened its supporters with stadium bans and the withdrawal of their membership. "Anyone who demonstrates such misconduct can no longer be part of our sports community," said president Ronny Rehn this week.

Commercial director Stephan Zimmermann had announced that there was "no potential for discussion" in the investigation. Saxony's Minister of the Interior Armin Schuster had proclaimed the upcoming home games for the club and fan scene as a "decisive test of honestly turning away from violence and rioting".

Some of the revised security concept in the stadium had already been implemented. For example, the seating area of the away block was cordoned off with nets to prevent people climbing over the barriers. The buffer area around the guest block to the home area was also reinforced. Police forces were not positioned directly in the stadium. This is planned for high-security matches. In future, security staff will also secure the area in front of the K-Block inside the stadium.
