Second-division soccer club Dynamo Dresden has won its third game of the summer preseason. In Großenhain, coach Thomas Stamm’s team secured a 4-0 (1-0) victory over KSV Hessen Kassel of the Southern Regional League. Young player Nico Künzel put the Saxons ahead with a header in the 38th minute. In the second half, in front of 3,500 spectators, the completely revamped Dresden squad added to their lead through Jonas Oehmichen, new signing Kaan Inanoglu (87th minute), and Niklas Remus (89th minute).
For Dresden, which has yet to concede a goal in its matches so far, Thomas Keller—who was officially signed just on Friday—made his debut in the starting lineup. Stamm also gave several young players playing time. On Thursday, Dynamo will travel to its training camp in Windischgarsten, Austria. Their next friendly match against first-division side Grazer AK will take place there on July 18.
