The basketball players of the Niners Chemnitz have entered the quarterfinals of the BBL Cup with aplomb. The Bundesliga club lived up to its role as favorites in the duel against Pro A league team Jobstairs Giessen 46ers and celebrated an effortless 89:64 (49:30) victory.
Kaza Kajami-Keane (24), Kevin Yebo (20), Brendan Baily (14) and Wesley van Beck (11) played a major role in reaching the round of the best eight. The most points for Giessen were scored by Duane Wilson (15) and Stefan Fundic (13).
