1. FC Magdeburg has signed Emmanuel Iyoha, an experienced offensive player. The 28-year-old is joining the club on the Elbe from Fortuna Düsseldorf, which was relegated from the 2. Bundesliga. “With him, we’re gaining a player for our club who has played at a high level in the 2. Bundesliga for many years and has always challenged us during preseason training. He brings an exciting combination
of physicality and experience and will add extra quality to our team with his versatility,” said sporting director Peer Jaekel.
The 1.93-meter-tall Iyoha is expected to bring energy to the wings in particular. The offensive player brings experience from 203 second-division matches. Iyoha is already the ninth new signing for FCM.
